Cultural offerings in the Rangeley Lakes region:

Antiques:  Only a few of the local antique dealers are listed on the web. Keep your eyes peeled while driving.

Churches: The Rangeley area has several traditional New England small town churches.  Our summer favorite is the 100 year-old Union Log Church
(non-denominational) in Oquossoc.

Covered bridge:  One of nine remaining in Maine, the Bennett Bridge was built in 1901.

Dining: Take-out, pizza, casual and fine dining.  Pride in ownership is apparent at local restaurants.

Festivals:  Fourth of July, Strawberry, Blueberry, Apple, and Logging Festivals; Outdoor Heritage Days, sidewalk art and antique shows, street dances.

Fine Arts:  Friends of the Arts sponsors theater and concerts.

Fitness Club:  Cardiovascular machines, strength training machines, free weights, world-class view overlooking the lake and mountains.  Daily use
rates available.

Food Shopping:  In addition to the grocery stores in Rangeley and Oquossoc, shop for gourmet foods and stop at the Gingerbread House ice cream parlor.

Galleries: Only some of the local art galleries are published on the web. Enjoy finding more as you walk through town.

Golf:  Mingo Springs golf course.  18 scenic holes overlooking the lake and mountains.  Open to the public.
