Step back in
time. Fiddlehead is a traditional
Maine camp. Built in 1939 on a site selected for its
lakefront, mountain view, sheltered shoreline, and private brook. Located on the desirable
western shore of Rangeley Lake, the cottage is sheltered in the lee of Bald Mountain
allowing calmer water and warmer weather, an unobstructed view of 4000 Saddleback
Mountain and spectacular moon rises reflecting on the lake. The adjacent 1.3 miles
of undeveloped,
protected shoreline and small islands provide an ideal loon habitat. |

It is a rare visitor who does not encounter moose in the area.
